As many have noted, these casters can be folded under the bench leg if you encounter an obstacle. I have to lift my bench down a shallow step into the garage and when I lift them off the floor they fold up every time. It is very difficult to return them to their original position while holding a heavy bench. This product works great. I bought these casters to easily move a 30 year old Craftsman radial hand saw around my garage. The craftsman no longer makes rolls for this saw. Powertec reels are very well constructed with thick machined steel, ball bearing pivots and high quality hard composite wheels.
