As you can see from the picture, a defective product was shipped. The broken part was not in the shipping bag so I can only assume this part was removed from their inventory and shipped broken. I can make it work, so I'll live with it.

I was hoping to use this with my 4" dust collector for my miter saw - with a 2 1/2" hose to connect to the miter saw, a Dust connector and a 4 inch connector to connect to a large neck for collecting dust. Exactly as advertised. In this case, hoses with a diameter of 2.5 and 4 inches are connected directly to the fitting. No adapters or edge tapes are required to attach the hose to the edge. needs to be trimmed or sanded.

I just modified my Kreg router table with a Kreg under table cabinet which includes a shroud around the router. Need that flange. What is particularly nice is that both my 4" hose and my 2-1/2" hose fit. It doesn't always work. I also think it's good that the lengths to which the hoses are attached are big enough so that enough hoses can be put on to create a good clamp connection. It doesn't always work either.

I had to return this item not because it had a quality issue but because of a fit issue. It will not fit 4 inch air shocks or a large dust cap or vice versa. It is also very difficult to attach a 4" hose to this Y-connector. Again, the products are well made, but depending on the configuration, not all parts may fit together perfectly. I suggest making a detailed plan of how and where you plan to use these parts and, more importantly, what they will be attached to. A little extra time and…
