Cheaply Installed Clamps Damaged Drawer Fronts

They do the job and are much easier than other methods of installing drawer fronts BUT they didn't come fully assembled. The screws that hold the clamp leg in place were not fully seated. He smashed the front of the box. The screws also loosen over time. I suggest taking yours apart when you receive it and tightening the screws that hold the legs securely. Maybe even apply some kind of screw lock.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Security

Very comfortable, excellent adjustment

This product is incredibly practical. I only had to attach one side of the box, but the way it was laid out made methods like hot glue impossible. This allowed me to fine tune it to make sure it perfectly matched the two existing cabinet doors and drawer front. The design just looks great. The screw tips that align the front of the drawer left to right are plastic at the end of the metal screw to protect your surfaces.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Simple and works well

Installed 4 drawer fronts per cabinet with Powertec mounting clips. The work went very quickly. Note that the clamps can bend, so you need to make sure the drawer clamp is very tight first. Final clamping pressure can then be applied gradually, but only lightly enough to check for side opening or play. Then tighten the face clip. Check and adjust for play. you can go I would be interested in a better competition system. However, I don't know anything.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • High price

Exactly what I was looking for! Works perfectly.

I wasn't sure if that would be enough, but I put it on the front of my first drawer and it worked great. I haven't tried the Rockler version, but the Powertec was a lot cheaper. It's solid and my first drawer is ready to be screwed on and then attached to the handle. Because you can close the drawer you can see exactly how well it fits which I couldn't with my clamps - at first I saw the front of my drawer move but I adjusted it with these drawer clamps - so easy! I do not regret this purchase!

Don't leave them tied up overnight!

At first I really liked this series of clips. Cheaper than the Rockler and looked pretty much the same. The metal flexes a bit when clamped, but overall they work as expected. Installing 10 drawer fronts has become a lot easier than trying to put multiple clips together. Why 3 stars instead of 4 or 5? Well it was getting late so I left one of the front walls overnight to complete the installation in the morning. I'm using professionally finished drawer fronts (4 coats of machine paint) and the…

Rubber feet stain wood in minutes. Metal support to unscrew the legs.

This unit is similar to Rockler's but cheaper. One reviewer said that the rubber feet will stain the wood if left overnight. In my case, when using a dry Danish oil stain on red oak, the rubber left significant stains within minutes. In addition, a rubber foot is pulled over a metal "washer" at the end of the clamping screw. The metal washer attaches to the clamp bolt with a smaller screw on the end, rather than the more common attachment method, which is more like a rivet head. Unfortunately…
