I made my own MC4 cables when wiring my solar system. I usually use Renogy but couldn't find it. I ordered them and had 0 problems with them. Would buy again.

I really like these. they got along so well. I broke 2 sets of Rengory brand. It took me 45 to make 2 cables with others. It was great, I made 2 cables in 10 minutes. Great offer and quality. They fit perfectly on the 8awg PV cable. The 10 AWG PC cable was tight enough. I would use less than 12awg on anything

not the standard MC4 connector I have used in the past because the standard MC4 tools I have used are not complete work with this item because the screw end of the cap is too big to fit in the snap. Ultra-tight fit on real PV with double shielding. Even one of the locking screws is stuck while the other is fine. A single wall cable was fine. The quality isn't there

I bought these for a small standalone system which I helped use with older panels that didn't have standard MC4 connectors. These plugs work well and are difficult to tell apart from high-end plugs, but there is a slight difference in the plastic composite material, which has a slightly gray tint. I wouldn't use them on more expensive rigs, although they will do for most portable or hobbyist rigs. For the price they are great.

I bought two sets. Literally half of them broke either during the initial disassembly or right after assembly. Those that didn't slow survived multiple lock/unlock cycles with no signs of fatigue. I would trust those that have gone through 5-7 on/off cycles. I spent the money I saved throwing half of it away. These are not the connectors I bought before. Of course they work great at first, but after about 2 weeks they lose connection. I've never had a problem with the plugs I bought from another company a few years ago. Luckily I know where I started using these connectors as I was very frustrated to find a bad connection so I cut out all those junk connectors and wired them up. PROBLEM SOLVED!. A pair of elastic plastic mounts break easily. I broke a few of them just assembling the connectors right out of the box and I didn't even handle them roughly. I'm sure they wouldn't stand up to repeated use in the field. I bought these plugs from this company because the delivery time was short and I was short on time.
