Unfortunately, these products fail quickly. Don't buy it if you need it for water based applications. I'm pretty sure this is normal for pure fuel applications. Low rating as the description didn't warn that it would rust if used with water.

Installation was easy but valve failed within 1 month of use. Maybe it was defective from the start. Either way this won't work and you can blow air through either end of the valve. Ordered a different valve from a different manufacturer. hope it's better

In my opinion it's just bad product design; because it doesn't hold the pressure properly. It's just that with the suction I can create with my mouth, you can feel the air moving in the wrong direction. I wouldn't recommend buying it and I wouldn't buy it again.

It could be a 14mm check valve but it will not give you the correct flow you are looking for. The "Check" mechanism moves so little.
