Very latest adhesive technology, Cures at a medium speed. Hand mouldable putty which sets like steel and matches the colour of steel. Seems to hold up well

I used this to restore the Bakelite handle for our stove top. It seems to be able to withstand the heat and has been very well used so far.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Little things

Not what I expected didn't work

Didn't cure even after 3 weeks. More like dumb putty. Not a good buy. I have one pack left in case someone wants to buy it and prove me wrong.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Some cons

Great product - mix gradually

It lasts a long time so mix gradually. It cures within 8 hours and fully cures in 48 hours. Ideal for restoring rusty steel (after grinding). Mix well.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • almost never

Didn't turn to "steel " and didn't stop my leak

Installed a 3/4" copper hot water line with a leaking leak. Didn't stick after several tries. I think I did wasted my money. Maybe it's not designed for wet environments or not, maybe it's for other purposes but not for me. Instead I got a clip that worked fine. I will never buy this again.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Empty

Harder and drier than JB Weld in the same format (spatula form)

Used to join and reinforce 2 aluminum tubes. Did a test with a similar product from JB Weld (a roll of epoxy putty with both parts). Pratley felt drier and tougher when the two ingredients worked together and didn't stick to surfaces as well. Both were installed around the same time. Both appeared to be similar in shear strength.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Functionality

No mess, really strong.

If you know about catalytic reactions, you know how to mix them well. Instead of buying a new mailbox or bracket, install a 200-pound steel bar. Concrete, I took a chance on this stuff. The "Made by Dad" bracket finally just ripped apart because too many juvenile delinquents were swinging home with bats and whistles. This thing has withstood up to 40 years of severe abuse from non-underage gamers. Anyway, I only used half a pack of product on a heavy steel mailbox. I held it for 5 minutes justโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Clarity

As your parents always taught you, read the instructions and it WILL WORK!

Seems like a lot of people here haven't read the instructions. This is by no means a complicated process, but you must follow the instructions carefully or it won't work. Here is the short version: The kit contains two fillers. You should cut equal amounts of both and then mix them together. If someone has only opened and used one stick, you haven't even tried the entire product. After that, it's very simple - knead in your hands for about 8 minutes (the instructions will tell what consistencyโ€ฆ
