πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ The idea behind using UHMW material for making jigs & fixtures is that the material stands up to friction better than wood and lower quality or lower density plastics. This makes it ideal for sleds where repetitive sliding happens regularly. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Its also very slick in comparison to wood and other plastics. Even though its "slick", it does NOT leave behind any residue which means no clean up after use. We all know how residue left on a table saw can be rather irritating and even harder to remove. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Even though its "slick", it does NOT leave behind any residue which means no clean up after use. We all know how residue left on a table saw can be rather irritating and even harder to remove. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) Polymer (plastic) is a linear polyethylene material with a molecular weight in the range of 3,000,000 to 6,000,000. UHMW is 10 times heavier than regular high density polyethylene making it extremely durable for constant repetitive use. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Use this UHMW to make jigs and fixtures for your table saw , router table, etc. Use the 3/4" x 3/8" plastic strips to make sliding table jigs for your table saw, band saw or router table. Length of bar may vary slightly.MADE IN THE USA!

Decent product but not usable

The rods were the exact size and the material was smooth. However, I couldn't, and it might be my fault, to find a good glue to glue it to the plywood. I tried double sided tape and CA glue. Tape was marginal and glue useless. I've searched the internet for a suitable solution, but haven't found anything. I gave them up and went to Kreg's jig and jig to finish my sled (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002QZ4SA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). If you don't use them together,

Measure Before You Buy

I read a review saying these guides are too big for their table saw slots. After measuring my own table saw I realized that they would also be too big for my table saw (Shopsmith V) but I figured it would actually be good because I could cut them to the perfect size and I even had plans Make sure my rails have an edge so my sled doesn't rise. Well I don't seem to have the right tools for this. At 16 inches, they are a bit too wide and thick for me. The material is so hard that trying to scrape…

Simple product difficult to use

This product is exactly what it says it is and I really want to like it but. The simple idea behind this product is to place these strips in the corner channel of your table saw and then build a square (or corner) cutting platform on top of them. First, the strips are a tight fit in my saw, and while smooth and smooth, they don't slide easily into the channel (of course, saws can be different). I tried using both channels on my desk but with two channels connected it literally wouldn't budge. I
