Very easy to install/use IF your seat allows the webbing to go through the gap in the backrest. Unfortunately I didn't test my car seat before ordering and now mine has a hard back to allow the belt to go in and around. It's a great price and we'll be using it in another vehicle, but be sure to keep that in mind when ordering. It really says it's compatible with most cars and I think our situation was unique and I should have looked at my car before placing an order online.

It's basically a big plastic hook that fits in the middle of the seat to pull the seat belt away from your stomach. I repeat what the other reviewer said, you should be able to wrap it around the seat. The belt must pass between the back of the seat and the seat cushion so that it can be wrapped around the seat.
