Wasn't too sure about this, but I had to try something to widen one of my boots. It worked out just fine. I highly recommend this product. It came with 3 different sized knobs. I wish it came with a couple more, though. But overall, I really like this product.

Used to stretch the toe box of a woman's size 9.5 hiking boot. It was at its limit bit adequate to do the job. I think the next size up might have been too large. I had to ream out the hole to fit in the bunion plug. The quality of the materials and construction is high.

As many boots as I own, I should have purchased one of these a long time ago! It has helped to be comfortable in 2 different pair of boots that were too narrow for my feet. Just make sure that when you are cranking it open that the handle bar and the wooden piece make a 45 degree angle or it doesn't open. I only say this because I thought mine was broken on arrival until I found a youtube video explaining how to use it.

I wish the wood part was a little narrower as I noticed that it also stretches out the mid-foot area when I was trying to focus on just stretching the toe-box. That could be because I have smallish feet (size 6.5-7 women), so maybe for larger shoes this wouldn't be a problem. Still did a good job stretching out the toe-box! I've used it in all my boots! i have the worlds worst feet. flat feet with bunions. i bought these to stretch out some expensive boots and this worked like a charm. i did use this in conjunction with spray on boot stretcher and between the two, my boots fit great and no more pain.

I wish it was more narrow to fit snuggly all the way into my boots. I have narrow feet. However, it works fine. Just need to come in a pack 2 so a person catch stretch both boots/shoes at the sometime. I guess that's how they get more money

I recently began trying to stretch boots and after 2 boots, the mechanism to widen the stretcher stopped turning. This was my second stretcher since the first one that came appeared used and also did not have a working turning mechanism. Since I bought this during the summer anticipating stretching winter boots, I'm past the window of return. I am utterly disappointed in this pricey waste of a product especially since my FootFitter for regular shoes has lasted for years.

This product was perfect to give me that little extra room I needed in some shoes. The design really does allow me to use it with any shoe type- from tall boots to sandals. It gave me back shoes I thought I’d never wear again.

I've never owned a shoe or boot stretcher before and don't know why I waited so long! I was concerned about how it would fit into my (medium) heeled cowboy boot but my concerns were quickly put to rest. I should have invested/investigated 20-30 years ago!

I stretched my first high heel boot overnight and it stretched it.Happy to use this with some other boots I ordered online. I added a button for my toe area and that helped out.

I just bought this. I put the plugs in, stuck it in my boot, and wound it open until it was tight, as per the directions. All seemed fine. Let my boot sit for a day, then went to take it out, and the thing WON'T CLOSE. I twist it and it does nothing, and it's in too tight that I can't just pull it out of my boot- so it is STUCK in my boot! Brand new $250 boots! They may just be ruined! And I couldn't even find anywhere on here to just contact the seller about this, so I'm posting here.

This did work to stretch my boots, but when I attempted to remove it from the second boot, it got stuck and would not turn. I tried going in the opposite direction, then back to closing the stretcher, and it eventually ended up completely stuck. It is working great to stretch out my boots. It has metal not plastic inserts (use to stretch out corn or bunions area on the boots). I just wish they came in pairs. It is pricey but I feel it is money well spent. I now able to wear my new boots.

I needed to stretch the width on a pair of suede boots where they rubbed against a small toe and this stretcher did the trick. One of the buttons fit exactly where the problem area was on my foot. I own about 40 pairs of boots, most sized women’s 7.5 (slight variation, 37 or 38, 7 or 7.5, depending on brand), all with heels 1.5-2.5” (I know, because I’m short, but I can’t walk in anything higher ;-) so I pay a lot of attention to heel measurements!) This works as expected. It works best in a boot with a slight heel (or probably more than slight). The handle is a little awkward to turn, but if you take your time, it works fine. I have wide toes so this allows me to buy most any boots and get them stretched to fit.

I have tried to put it into 6 pairs of knee-high to ankle boots, and it doesn't go into any. I wear a size 6.5. May not fit all boot heights.

As stated, in less than two weeks the knuckle broke. The handle is no longer connected to the stretcher. I'm not a big strong manly man or anything. I need a team lift to pick up a Snickers bar.
