I wish the wood part was a little narrower as I noticed that it also stretches out the mid-foot area when I was trying to focus on just stretching the toe-box. That could be because I have smallish feet (size 6.5-7 women), so maybe for larger shoes this wouldn't be a problem. Still did a good job stretching out the toe-box! I've used it in all my boots! I didn't use any leather conditioner or anything. I just put this into my shoes and left them overnight. I used this in my boots as well as my booties and regular flats. Seemed to work just fine.
