LOVE IT! WE WORK GREAT! I've just stopped using them as our daughter didn't like them for the tea/coffee watercolour-like colour, but I liked them so I bought them. But it's her tank, not ours, but we still have her in case she changes her mind. after. We must respect their wishes! 😊

Great blades for my main battle tanks

I am just blown away by the size, quantity and quality of these blades. Before I ordered them, I bought them at a pet store. I got 4 tiny sheets for about $7. In this pack I have 24 sheets, each equal to these 4 sheets together (see photo for comparison). They are bigger, thicker and in better condition. We recommend.

Good quality and packaging, however.

Huge Leaves! Much more than expected. And the quality is also very good. Were perfectly packed. Dry leaves are very brittle and they were whole dry leaves. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because my beta literally has no interest in it and doesn't do anything with my tank. I assumed from other reviews that this would turn the water a little brown, but it literally did nothing. I'll give it another week to see if it makes a difference and I'll update my review if it does.

READ BEFORE BUYING

You get a good amount of large blades for the price. It's only been 2 days since I put a leaf in my 5 gallon betta tank and still no tannins. However, I had to do a water change today and noticed LOTS of tiny worms in the tank. They weren't in the tank before the leaf was added! I know another reviewer mentioned they had worms after adding the leaf. My Betta eats them and I have no idea if it's bad for them! Read before you buy!

I've noticed people say that tannins don't come out when placed in an aquarium. There are ways to do this, as not all leaves are created equal. 1) Breaking the leaf into pieces encourages faster release of tannins 2) Making tea from almond leaves is the best method in my opinion. Boil water, pour over the leaves and leave overnight. The next day you have very dark water with concentrated tannins. I like this method because you can decide how much or how little you want in your aquarium. You can
