I ordered USP 100% Pure Food Grade Premium Mineral Oil, 1 gallon from Bluewater Chemgroup and it was filled by Revain. When I weighed it on my very accurate product scale upon receipt and before opening the product, it weighed: (7 lb 3.4 oz) which equals 115.4 oz. That said, with a 1-gallon plastic bottle and cap, this mineral oil weighed just 115.4 ounces. That's how it should have been, and I should have gotten the full 128 ounces. Mineral oil, but obviously not! This is very mean and not…

Penetrates wood well, great price

I have used this oil to finish and protect the cutting boards I make (see picture). It's more fluid and penetrates deeper into the wood, which is good. The oil is odorless and optically transparent. When first applied to new wood, the wood magically brightens and shines. Apply the oil generously and let it absorb. The oil penetrates the wood if left on and offers better protection. seems to have stopped absorbing. it took about 1/2 gallon of oil. I found that after sitting on a cutting board…

Excellent oil for working meat blocks and kitchen knives

I am very impressed with the quality and price. I originally bought this to process a new cutting block that I received as a gift. Before using the block for the first time I had to apply 5 coats of oil before it was sufficiently absorbed into the wood. After that, after washing the record, I apply a thin coat of oil. It is also very useful for all kitchen utensils with wooden handles as it helps keep the handles intact and prevent them from breaking. It is also particularly suitable for…

Arrived as planned but bottle doesn't look full

Received the oil as they promised but when I opened the box I saw there was a cup or two missing from the jar. This might be because it was packaged in a rectangular plastic jar that held just over a gallon. It didn't look like anything was spilled during shipping as there was no dirt in the shipping box and the seal was intact. Assuming the company isn't outright scamming people and isn't dumb enough to cover it up with a clear jug, I would advise the company to use a jug that looks full when…

BEST QUALITY/QUALITY/VALUE PRODUCT I HAVE BUYED IN 10 YEARS?!

FIRST I only write 100% real reviews. I take the quality of my reviews VERY seriously to help consumers like me in a world full of scams. Beware of fake reviews, review bots, paid/advertised reviews. [Wish I was paid for this :P] I originally ordered this for my woodwork. THEN EXPERIENCE HOW MANY DIFFERENT USES IT HAS! At first I was skeptical about the price/quantity, but I realized mineral oil is mineral oil, why pay 2-4 times more? I saw some negative reviews for this product but the nature…
