All I needed was a basic baguette couch. It does exactly that. I've been using it almost non-stop for two weeks now. The only thing needed is flour before use, and after use I hang it on the oven rack to dry while the bread bakes. I keep it in a cupboard above the oven to keep it clean and dry. Just. Is working. Learning how to use this product properly will take time. If you are not as experienced as a baker, this can seem overwhelming at first. Once you get used to it, it will become easier for you. I stopped using ap, pastry or bread flour for this and started using rice flour because bread slides more easily and doesn't absorb rice flour. But yeah, it's not a beginner's tool.

Couche functionality is fantastic. However, I bought this one because it came with a storage pouch. It turns out to be a land mine. To use the included pouch, you need to fold it into many small squares. This creates seams all over the sofa! I need a longer bag. Now I just need to figure out how to store this without worrying about flour getting everywhere. Since the package was the reason for choosing this product, I give it three stars, no more.

I bought this couch because it looks like my old couch and it comes with a bag. A gross mistake, despite the similarity, the quality does not match. The fabric is rough, loose, fluffy. It has a strong odor, does not smell like linen. The biggest disappointment is the storage bag, it's too small to be useful. You have to keep folding the sofa to make it fit. Unfortunately, I'll just have to keep using my grocery bag until I find a better storage solution.

To answer a few questions: No storage bag is advertised here, so no questions (probably why this lot is on sale). Linen is a very cheap fabric, expect it to be a raw material. When properly floured, its rough texture isn't a problem, and that's partly why the dough doesn't stick to it when used as directed. I love it so far. The couch itself is great. Came in a ziplock plastic bag. I took mine outside, shook it and started using it the same day. The reason this review only gets 2 stars is because it DOES NOT include a storage bag. I'm not the first to complain about this and I'm sure I won't be the last.
