Hey, it grinds pepper well and more than I expected. Enough room for my big hands to turn it around. It can grind quite well, finer than I want, but it's adjustable so I can get the grind I want. It's made of glass, so don't drop it into a sink on a hard floor. I thought it was a very good price and quality product. If I don't break it, it should last a long time.

The grind might be too fine for my taste. Some of the parts are plastic so I don't expect to have it in ten years, but then again it didn't cost much. The shape is beautiful, so it is an eye-catcher for the table. It doesn't come with salt, so you'll have to get it separately. I will decide whether to buy it again once I know how long it will last. That's okay, and sometimes that's all you need. This will do what you need.

I bought 2 of these first. One for Himalayan salt and one for whole pepper. I was very happy with them. Last week I accidentally knocked a pepper grinder off the island and smashed it. I immediately went online and ordered another one. It arrived very quickly and now I have 2 again! These grinders are great. I love that you can adjust how finely you want the salt and pepper to come out. Plus, they hold a lot so you don't have to keep refilling them!

We had a cheap wooden grinder that we used to grind crumbled pink Himalayan sea salt. Aside from not being very durable, it collected salt on the bottom of the closet we kept it in and was difficult to fill. This is a major improvement. The glass jar is durable, easy to fill and makes it easy to see how much is left. The latter appears to be much stronger, but only time will tell if it can withstand regular use. It takes a bit of tweaking to get the exact grind I want and I haven't tried…

Cleaning this grinder before first use was easy enough although it does take a long time to dry. The top is removed to add peppercorns. Unfortunately, this is where the usefulness of this product ended for us. It's so inefficient and inefficient at grinding. You have to twist it back and forth in small twists many dozens of times to get enough pepper to flavor your food. I've owned many coffee grinders over the past 35 years, including a pair that look exactly like this one. Doesn't work properly. I received a refund from Revain. Having had good coffee grinders like this one, I took advantage of the seller's offer to buy more of these to give as gifts. I sincerely hope they work properly. If that is the case I will come back and update this review as it is possible that my experience is coincidental. If not I will come back and advise others not to buy this…
