🥑 Keep Your Guacamole Fresh with the Airtight Lid of Fresh Guacamole ProKeeper Review

It was a waste of money. I bought a guacamole keeper. You want your guacamole to stay fresh and green for several days because the lid is designed to pull air out when you press on the lid. I made sure I read the instructions fully, but. no fun. My guacamole turned this ugly dark color in just a few hours. The product is GARBAGE.

I didn't really think this container would work but I was pleasantly surprised. The first 2 photos I posted are from my last guacamole - 1.5 days ago. Still very green and no oxidation. The third photo is the same batch, about 2.5 days old. It's still green, no brown spots. Only very slight oxidation after 2.5 days. I'm the only avocado eater in my house so this container is a winner!

This works very well. The only trick I noticed is that you need to make sure the top of your guacamole is smooth before putting the lid on. Any air pockets in the container will allow the guacamole to brown slightly. In this case, quick mixing and a small amount of brown paint do not matter. I've had guacamole in the fridge for 4 days now and it's still very good! Very glad I bought it!

This batch of guacamole lasted four days and could have lasted longer had it not been eaten. The container was opened and closed every day and the avocado was still green. It's usually a race to eat the avocado before it goes bad at my house, and after it's cut, the leftovers have to be eaten within a day before they turn brown (despite using lots of citrus, seeds, or plastic wrap) . . Now I can prepare a few for the coming week. Be sure to let all the air out to seal properly.

These reviews were mixed with 9 other products from the same company. You need to look at the reviews for the product you want. I was lazy. I saw 6xx + 4 stars. I liked it. I didn't read the review properly because I wasn't satisfied with the product. The container is too big for what it is. The concept is good. From my picture. You can see that the rim of the rubber doesn't grip the inside wall of the container very well. My avocado mixture turned brown the next day. a bit disappointed.

This guacamole holder is priced at around $12. It's very big and 3 avocados won't even fill it halfway. A smaller size would be nice. It's easy to use and works well once you know how to seal it properly. If you want to keep your guacamole for a few days, give it a try! I myself was skeptical as I only saw reviews about the bread storage. I tried it anyway because I was fed up with hacks like adding extra lemon juice which ruins the flavor if you add it (IMO), cover with cling film, add a layer of water (which works btw, there is time?), not me! This bowl is easy to use and will keep your guacamole beautiful and delicious day after day! I'm a lucky tourist! It really works!

I was really hoping this would be the solution for brown guacamole but the lid was difficult to slide open. Whenever I tried it, it would tilt to one side or the other and then the guacamole would get stuck in the padding surrounding it. I would clean the guac and try again but it kept happening over and over again. I don't write many reviews but this product deserves one. That's great. this makes it easy to squeeze out all the air over the guacamole and keep it from browning. this works LOOONNNNGGG time, but one thing you need to know is that you shouldn't store guacamole in it per se. it's better to mash the avocado, add some salt and **a little** lemon juice and maybe some thinly sliced garlic (but not too much).
