I don't write many reviews but this product deserves one. That's great. this makes it easy to squeeze out all the air over the guacamole and keep it from browning. this works LOOONNNNGGG time, but one thing you need to know is that you shouldn't store guacamole in it per se. it's better to mash the avocado, add some salt and **a little** lemon juice and maybe some thinly sliced garlic (but not too much). If you plan to use it for guacamole, add the onions and tomatoes (and cilantro if you like) just before using. This will help it last longer. I kept some guacamole in this thing for a month and it still didn't turn brown, although it did ferment a bit since it had onions and tomatoes in it. I've found this works best if you use avocado and salt as above with a little lemon juice and keep it for up to two weeks or so. This thing saved me from losing a lot of avocados and guacados. When you buy multiple avocados at once (like Costco does), they all tend to ripen at the same time. With this storage container, you can puree them all when they're at their peak and save them to use when you're ready. i like this thing Just bought two more for gifts.
