Needs to be replaced every six months

Bought July 2019, now December 2019 and the non-stick coating has deteriorated. We use this pan every day, usually twice. We have always cooked very gently at low temperatures (rarely over 250 and at most 300) and never scratched when cleaning. We literally just use a damp paper towel to wipe it down. However, after five months, EVERYTHING sticks/burns to the surface. The surface of the heating element changes color and the food burns in a perfect oval shape over the element. Initially we…

Electric Presto Pans NO LONGER THE BEST

This is our fourth electric Presto pan in 49 years. Used at least 3-5 times a week. Fried eggs or pancakes for breakfast, fried sandwiches for lunch, and too many dinner options to list. We've never had any problems with the electrical controls. The non-stick surface will wear down after years of use, but a little oil or spray is fine. 04/14/2010 Unfortunately, I have the feeling that I honestly have to change my rating. Disappointing disappointing ceramic layer

We've had it for a few months, wanted to use it a few times before writing a review. Had high hopes for this electric skillet which we replaced is an essential part of our kitchen. It heats up well and has a large cooking surface, which we love. Advantages: heats up well, surface, large glass lid. The picture shows what bothers me. a film is welded on, which I cannot remove according to the manufacturer's instructions.
