Presto Electric Tilt-N-Fold Griddle, 19-inch, Black: Boost Your Cooking Experience Review

Bought to replace our 15 year old Presto which broke after the third fall to the ground. The only complaint with this is that the controller is on the back, making it difficult to see. The tilt and fold option is great for storage compared to our latest model.

Not recommended. The temperature setting is hard to tell when I'm using it (which I should have noticed from the product photos), but the biggest issue is the uneven heat. I've used it a few times and in some places the food almost burns and in other places it barely gets warm.

Like all non-stick pans I've tried, this one cooks unevenly. The part of the hob above the heating element is very hot, while the rest of the surface should be 30 or 40 degrees colder. As a result, part of each pancake was almost burnt and the other part barely baked. I'm returning for a refund.

I really wanted to like this affordable, easy to store and large pan. Uneven heat distribution was a deal breaker. Most of time. I replaced an old frying pan that I had for many years with this new model and I'm glad I did. Admittedly I've only used it twice, but it has excellent heat distribution and enough cooking surface for a family of four, maybe more if you get creative.
