We were delighted to have found an authorized replacement part for our old Presto stove. This part works well but is difficult to install. The case is difficult to put on and take off. But we're glad our stove is back.

I found this product to be too big. When I first installed it, I had a big gap. Then I noticed that there are two notches on each end. First I lined up the notches and placed them on opposite sides of the lid. Then they crowded in the rest. Thus, the gap was halved. After that I could add the rest. This kit allowed me to rebuild a pressure cooker from a thrift store for a lot less than buying a new one. Some reviewers say it's too big. You must completely clean the mounting groove. Seriously, how many companies here in the States have a support phone number that will happily help you identify your stove and part number, whether you're buying from them or Revain? It's like Presto has no idea what this part is or what stove it goes with. I bought this pack from a guy on ebay, found the ring was too big, he refunded me.
