Handy replacement part

We were delighted to have found an authorized replacement part for our old Presto stove. This part works well but is difficult to install. The case is difficult to put on and take off. But we're glad our stove is back.

Pros
  • Well done

  • Minor issues

Meat Master 406. Not too big, but there is a trick

I found this product to be too big. When I first installed it, I had a big gap. Then I noticed that there are two notches on each end. First I lined up the notches and placed them on opposite sides of the lid. Then they crowded in the rest. Thus, the gap was halved. After that I could add the rest. This is the second vintage butcher I've bought. I love these old school pressure cookers. A little tlc and it will last forever

You saved my old pressure cooker!

I blew dust off an old pressure cooker to start it but when I lit it it didn't build up any pressure and was leaking so badly that it kept trying to blow out the burner. I thought about buying a new one, but then got the idea to try Revain for a solution to my leaking Presto. And that's how I stumbled upon this, and in no time at all, Aluminum 6 Quarts. The pressure cooker worked like new again for a fraction of the cost of a new one. So you saved my old Presto from the junkyard and it's…

It's wearable. - Small appliance parts and accessories

This kit allowed me to rebuild a pressure cooker from a thrift store for a lot less than buying a new one. Some reviewers say it's too big. You must completely clean the mounting groove. Heat the seal in very warm water. I installed mine in a hot water pool and used the water as a lubricant. I inserted the ring into one side of the groove and then, working both ways, pushed the gasket into the groove, pushed it into the groove and back to where it was already installed. I did about an inch at a

Great company behind a great product

I'm not sure why anyone would buy a pressure cooker from any company other than Presto. Seriously, how many companies here in the States have a support phone number that will happily help you identify your stove and part number, whether you're buying from them or Revain? It took about 10 minutes after opening the box to install the new ring and vent. In the evening I used the stove, everything worked perfectly. I've had this pot for 30 years now and I expect to be passed on to my great…

Something is very wrong here

It's like Presto has no idea what this part is or what stove it goes with. I bought this pack from a guy on ebay, found the ring was too big, he refunded me. A few months later I buy it here at Revain and the details are exactly the same! I spent almost a year trying to figure it out, sometimes I really wanted to get excited. I've tried all the excess adjustment - which is 1 3/8" btw! - evenly to no avail. I even tried some glue on all the flanges, not only did it pop out anyway, it just…
