After all the reviews I was expecting this to be on the loose side. I weigh 118 pounds, I’m 5’6”, my waist is 26, my hips are 36, and I’m a 34 AA. I got the extra small/small size. It fits nice. Very cute dress for the price. However a bit too short for me. It was a little tight but comfortable. I’m just too chunky these days. There were some strings hanging from it but looked like they could be cut with no problems. The gold was more of a matte gold than shiny. The dress was light and not heavy at all. I didn’t like the side seam how it was separating. Maybe if it was looser it would show as bad. I’m 5’2 and 180. This is a large size.

I can not say enough about this dress. It fits perfect, form fitting without being unflattering. I am NOT a size 2 so I am always worried about stretchy things being too tight. It's super comfortable, unbelievable sparkle, large sequins. Love, love, love it. You will not be disappointed. I bought the one with 3 shades that go from pink to dark purple (in the picture I thought it was black but it's indeed a deep purple)

My summary:1) This dress stretches well and overall fits great. I bought this one and another dress at the same time to try, and this one was the keeper.2) No, this isn't a super fancy dress, but it looks that way when worn (and it's just under $30), so this is a pretty great deal.3) I have a small chest, so I often have problems with respect to dresses fitting correctly there. The reviews for this dress seemed a bit misleading, the dress came quick and fit like a charm. I don’t like my dresses too tight so I liked the looseness on this one. I ordered a size medium and it wasn’t too short. Sequins is always risky but great for a holiday party!

I bought this dress in blue. It is absolutely gorgeous. I received nonstop compliments! A little girl I didn’t know was so mesmerized by the sequins’ shine that she walked up to me and stroked the dress a few times. LOL. HOWEVER, beware… the sequins cut up my underarms something awful.

OVERALL THE DRESS IS VERY PRETTY. MY ONLY REASON FOR LESS THAN 5 STARS WAS THE FIT BUT THAT OF COURSE CAN ALSO DEPEND ON THE PERSON.

My wife is a 14, with a M top and L bottom. We bought an XL and it fit great.The question you have to ask: How self conscious are you? My wife could wear an L but would be tugging at it all night feeling it too tight. With the XL she looked great, it hugged well enough but she did not feel exposed.

Fits perfect and looks very pretty. The only downside was that I have long hair and my hair keeps getting stuck with the sequence of the dress.
