Description of Prime Line 9054985 Screws Galvanized 100 Pack

Size: 1/4 inch X 1-1/2 inch. Heavy duty wood screw with 6 sided hex bolt head. Features deep wood screw threads and does not accept a nut. Used in applications where standard wood screws cannot support the load (deck building, etc.). Requires pilot hole to be drilled and installs using wrench or socket tool.

Rust Magnet - Avoid at All Costs

These screws may look nice at first, but they quickly became a rust magnet.after only a few weeks, they started to corrode and lost their effectiveness. They may be cheap, but you get what you pay for. As a professional contractor I highly recommend investing in higher quality screws that won't compromise the integrity of your project..

Good Quality, Heavy Zinc Plating, but Poor Size

"Prime-Line" 9054985 Hex Head Screws, 1/4" x 1-1/2", A307 Grade A Hot Dip Galvanized Steel, 100' are good heavy duty bolts with a good coating but they were obviously sized without regard to the thickness of the zinc making them too big for your heads.
