It was very cold outside which helped our tent get nice and warm inside.

It takes a while to get going, but this heater puts out some serious BTUs. We recently used it on a 180 mile wilderness trip this winter. It was very cold outside which helped keep our tent nice and warm. Love the fact that it has low O2 and a handpiece sensor. Don't worry it only has one temperature setting because I just want to warm up my tent and sleeping bags in the morning and evening.

Great heater, works well, starts easily.

He tested a small room the size of a bathroom to about 85 degrees. Went on smoothly. A one pound bottle lasted about 7 hours. The only negative (Miner) is that it is not regulated. Photos of the head of the unit are deceptive. It is very large and not portable for hiking. With proper ventilation this is a fantastic little heater to have as a backup should the heater on wheels fail. Care must be taken to ensure that this and all other low pressure heaters in enclosed spaces are properly vented…

Start too long

Too many sensitive security features. gone forever Even with an external flashlight, it takes about 30 seconds. ignite. My thumb started to attach itself permanently to it. The slightest movement turns it off. Moving it carefully from one room to another will turn it off. Try gluing some kind of soft rubber material to the start switch. After playing with it for about two hours, I readjusted the thermocouple closer to the pilot. Now it will activate in about 30 seconds. They think they will…

Brand New Product - Lemon; would like an easy replacement

Bought this in the summer but obviously didn't need to use it as it was hot then. I used this heater for the first time last weekend and although the igniter worked and I could see a small flame, the disc did not trap or give off any heat. I got cold in my tent while camping and I was really looking forward to this heater. This product was expensive and I would like to find an easy replacement for one that works. Mine still has the tags and I still have the box it came in. I've never used it…

Great little heater

This is a great little heater for camping in a tent. And it raises the temperature in my garage way better than I expected. I had a slight learning curve with my first real use of it. My son and I went hiking with tents at the foot of Kirstal Va mountain. the first weekend of March 2020. It worked great outside, but the first night it turned itself off after 15 minutes before bed. I tried to restart multiple times throughout the night because I was frozen and couldn't sleep. As soon as dawn…

Dangerous - not worth the trouble.

Bought before a trip. Parcel arrived undamaged from Revain. First use and the thing didn't work properly. The entire surface of the device was surrounded by a large blue flickering flame that extended to the metal surface. When I contacted the company, a poorly formatted PDF was sent with instructions on how to disassemble and clean the entire unit. They also explained that they *often* had these issues and that the blocks remained unsealed and exposed to the environment *after* the test. I…
