Reviews are not always reliable

This door brush is very small, flimsy and does not fit my Larson door. The reviewers must have a very different door to mine.

Pros
  • Gray vinyl

  • Compatibility

Good replacement for Pella Storm Door Brush

The material is more malleable than the original and the cross-section is different from the original or product photo; it tapers throughout but glides well and gets the job done. And great price. Hope it lasts a good time.

Pros
  • V-shape Gray Vinyl
Cons

The right spare part for my storm door.

I was hesitant to give a 2 star review because it was exactly the same as the original product of my storm door. The only problem is because the thickness made it difficult to slide into the track on the door. we used washing up liquid and that helped a bit.

Pros
  • 37" length x 3/8" height x 1/8" width top
Cons
  • security

Fits well and works best in door hardware and locks

A small strip of rubber replaces one that has been long gone. It's tedious to install because you have to stretch it across the entire width of the door. This isn't the fault of this product, it's a common issue with replacing these rears. I wet it a little, stretched it about 3/4, cut and peeled off the remaining 1/4 on the other side.

Pros
  • Helps prevent air ingress
Cons
  • Ineffective

Weatherstrip - Door Hardware & Locks

We have an older Sears Storm door that needed a weather sweeper replacement. It requires a rounded lip where it inserts, but this product is no longer made, so we took a chance and went with this Y-shaped insert lip. I had to cut off one side of the Y to paste it. It took a bit of fiddling with a flathead screwdriver and a thin spatula, but it installed and works fine.

Pros
  • Delta Style
Cons
  • Not the Best

I think this will fit most storm doors. There is a slot on the underside of most storm doors that it simply slides into. I have an AMCO/Anderson model and it glides great. It's weird that you can't find them at most hardware stores. I also tried checking out Anderson's website and they wanted significantly more for it. I bought my house without this installed and noticed a draft coming from the door. This got rid of that draft :) And all those ants that came from the opening last spring. Very…

  • No Instructions

Gave 5 stars because it worked well but there is an Anderson OEM package on Revain that will replace both Blades includes what costs less than two This item. Like many rubber parts, it is stiff and tends to stay twisted outside of the packaging. Leaving it in the sun for a bit or dropping it in a mug of boiling hot water will "relax" it for easier installation. It's worth splashing some warm soapy water in the groove at the bottom of the door and wiping away any accumulated dirt and grime…

Great replacement for a back or rear screen door

For those of you who have a Cole Sewell screen door for the back of your home this item would make a great replacement for the original. Cole Sewell (I think the spelling is correct) is no longer in service and replacement parts are extremely hard to come by. This seal is located at the very bottom of the door, which slides into a metal guard that is attached to the inside of the door with two screws. Try putting this product on the track where the old door seal was. If you find it's a pain in…
