With this brush you paint like flat

This brush allows you to paint with a pointed flat brush or a pointed brush. Feels like a brush.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • May I add something?

Good brush in the brush category

There is nothing better than a dagger brush for painting. I wish I had found this brush a while ago. This is a good quality brush. hair does not fall out. Very soft and smooth.

Pros
  • Solid design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Awesome brush for the job

I love this little guy so much. The bristles slide easily and flawlessly over the paper. It holds good water flow, the bristles hold their shape fairly well, and it easily became my favorite brush to work with as it's incredibly versatile.

Pros
  • Like everyone else so far
Cons
  • Clarity

Many possible strokes with this unique dagger

I bought this synthetic brush and another one in sable. I have to say that I'm now a fan of the "Dagger". They are (depending on size) excellent for fine strokes, for details and even for fine mixed strokes. I almost like synthetic better than sable because it's a bit stiffer. I'm planning to buy a set of Bristle Daggers, but I'll definitely be using this one. Great brush, good value for money and Princeton is always a quality product.

Pros
  • Brush
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

DEFINITELY NOT FOR ME.

I've never used a dagger brush, but a very respected artist told me it was a "must have", especially for portraits. Since I recently started doing portraits, I decided to give it a try. I hate that. Good brush, just not for me. What I hate the most are the very soft bristles. I like a brush with stiffer bristles, that's my personal preference. He's so soft I can't do anything with him. I thought I could use it for blocking, no it doesn't work for me.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Some Little Things

What a great brush!

There is an artist who does a lot of watercolor tutorials on YouTube using this type of brush. As I watched the other day, I decided I could try to do it myself. Well this is the coolest brush ever! Every watercolor artist uses different brushes that give them the desired result and I find the more I use this brush the more I like it. It is extremely versatile: it can be used as a cartridge and then as a rigger in seconds. Some people say this particular brush is too soft, but I like itsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Painting
Cons
  • Cord shorter than other brushes
