Fiction! - Vibrant brushes

Great brush! Holds color well, well made, the tip stays nice and sharp. I definitely want to get more brushes from this line.

Resisting Student Abuse

I've had Round #20 for a few weeks now. It holds a lot of watercolor and water and the round tip returns to its original shape even though I crushed it on purpose. ;)

Size 20 is closer to 16. Is it fake?

I bought a size 20 to be a size bigger than the 16 I already have but even though 20 is printed on the handle the size is basically the same as a 16. It should 9/16 inches its width. You can see how far it is in my photo. I have no comment on the quality because I'm not sure I'll leave it.

  • Fits many

The tip of the brush stays sharp while painting

This brush is worth the investment. The tip stays sharp while painting, unlike the cheaper big brushes. It's great for dampening paper and creating large strokes, as well as working with the end to create fine lines. I use this brush and a much smaller brush for all my watercolor work. work as they are all I need. Taklon is a synthetic brush fiber that works better than natural hair because it's designed for painting. All my brushes are taklon now. I will not buy another fiber in the brush…

These brushes can't be beat at this price!

I'm in love with these Snaps! The brushes are from Princeton and currently come in several different sizes. They really do have fantastic feel and elasticity, and they also contain a wonderful amount of water and pigment. All mine come to a super fine point which allows you to make very thin controlled lines as well as wider strokes with more pressure on the brush and then return to a sharp point as you ease the pressure. Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with these brushes at this price…

Pros
  • arts, paints and craft supplies
Cons
  • something else

I use this for watercolor and it holds up pretty well. The bristles are strong yet soft and if you don't leave them wet for long they will hold a clean tip well. Even at my sneer, the bristles are neat despite being curved at the tip. Absorbs a lot of water/pigment and can easily make very fine marks with a tip or large strokes of high pressure. I just wish it had a different handle because if it stays wet and soaks up water the polish on the handle will crack and flake off, but it's mostly…
