The big price was the selling point.

I got hold of a set of 6 that was cheaper than two tubes of gold paint. This is a great set for those who are starting to paint with acrylics. I have been painting in oils for over 20 years and these acrylics should make even the pickiest artist happy.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Modernity

Golden love in painting

Golden always gives paints of excellent quality. It was nice to try them out as I had never worked with heavy acrylics before. God the colors are amazing. I especially like this set for the vibrant purple color I can achieve. Worth the price. They arrived on time and in perfect condition. A great addition to any artist's paint set.

Very beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful! Amazing quality color. I used cheap quality paints as I'm a beginner but when I used the gold set I could tell a big difference. Very shiny, vibrant colors, thick, buttery consistency - goes on very smoothly yet is creamy enough to create texture. I'm in love with this brand and will definitely use it for the rest of my artistic life! Below is how to work with these paints.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others

Much cheaper than an art store

I usually buy lower quality paints at an art store but I have seen this higher quality packaging at a much better price than the store. I've only used it once so I may not have a precise idea of it. Looks a bit thicker than my level 1 paint (it was level 2) but other than that I didn't notice much of a difference. Maybe I will with future uses. In general I was satisfied with the price. The quality was good. If you're already using this, you can't beat the value. I would recommend it.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Something different

Rich and creamy! suitable for painting

I usually paint in oil and have tried different acrylic paints, but I usually resort to oil. I read the reviews and decided to try this line. I want to say that I like the colors. They're rich, creamy and the colors are vibrant! The only downside to acrylic paints is that they dry too quickly and don't mix like oils. I tried making my own acrylic filler but it stuck together and the paint didn't flow easily so I'll try another filler (DecoArt Traditions Artist Acrylic Extender and Blending…

This color is SUPREME. Amazing consistency as well as brightness that is second to none in my experience. The colors blend easily and completely with various secondary and tertiary colors as needed. I started my "career" with folk art paints 10 years ago, and to get the same variety of colors you need over 100 bottles of folk art! Always with mixing! I switched to GOLDEN about 2 years ago and have never regretted it. The picture I post shows the difference between GOLD and folk art, the main…
