Premium Pro-Shot Gun Cleaning Patches for .22-.270 Caliber - 1000 Count Pack Review

The only patches I use on my target rifles. I've tried most brands but settled on Pro-Shot as a gun cleaning patch.

Great product for avid shooters. These cotton swabs are ideal for cleaning the barrel as well as the top of the receiver, bolt carrier and even bolt action rifle components. Don't piss off your wife and please don't use her kitchen towels! They're high quality, don't leave a lot of lint (trust me, nothing lint free), cheap, and you can get rid of the mess by rolling it all up in newspaper when you're done.

Compared to what I use (Hoppes patches) I only need half as much of patches to clean my rifle. You lose very little. The only difficulty is pushing the mount through due to the stiffer weave. I usually just use the loop adapter anyway.

I love Pro Shot patches and use this brand almost exclusively. However, these patches are too small for 6.5mm/.260 calibers and larger, although the packaging says they work. They should only be considered for .22 caliber. To clean my 6.5mm cartridge I used the correct size Pro-Shot 2" serrated cartridges again. Works great.
