Enhanced Clutch Perch by Pro Taper Profile Review

Finally found a clutch perch that wasn't insanely expensive but matches the quality and is cheaper than the OEM replacement which isn't even as good. I am very happy with it

Clutch feels good, adjusts on the fly. I already threw it in the corner and it turned on the bar like it should, bent well and I flew.

The clutch lever is good, I had to cut it to fit under the guard. My biggest complaint is how tight the wellies were on. I ripped it off with pliers because it was very tight. Please put some lube on it ex works or don't make it so damn tight! It's really frustrating to break a brand new thing over something so stupid and avoidable.

Excellent product arrived on time. It appears to be a stiff clutch perch and lever, the levers appear to be a little longer than I thought but it has a slot to cut it at the root. My only problem is with the duster. Removing the regulator is quite difficult, so I broke off a small piece of it that protects against dust getting into the regulator slot. Also, because it's rigid, it doesn't look like it's fully back in the groove when you put it back on the controller.

I like the clutch assembly itself. Works great and parts are cheap. My only complaint is that Pro Taper doesn't offer matching brake assemblies or even matching levers to match OEM brake pads. This makes the controls look slightly unbalanced. Some bikers are used to this and will buy the cheapest brands they can find to replace damaged parts, but I have higher standards. I strongly suspect that anyone who spends that kind of money on a clutch perch does the same and I almost didn't buy any. I'm
