Well made! good for me

This is my first "deep" light modifier and it took me a bit to get use to the more direct lighting it creates. But, now that I have, I like it!It has a decidedly "cooler" light temperature to it though. Not a problem if you shoot RAW. Just something to be aware of.I don't like it without the optional diffuser cover at all. Be sure to order it when you order this.

Pros
  • Not a pro product but does the job just fine if you are on a budget.
Cons
  • Bulky and difficult to transport, making it inconvenient for on-location shoots

Sturdy and easy to use.

Super easy to setup and just "feels” professional. The difference in build between this and the very popular low budget brands is night and day. You won’t be disappointed.

Pros
  • Love this umbrella! Great quality!
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other lighting options, making it inaccessible for some photographers

High quality lighting tool

One of my top go-tos for my location portraits; other is my Westcott 7ft shoot thru. This is a well designed and built umbrella that if not abused will provide years of service.Just don't be stupid if using outdoors in the wind. The newly designed locking mechanism is a joy.Don't hesitate.

Pros
  • great parabolic and with nice depth to it. quality bag and materials and very easy to use.
Cons
  • The parabolic design may not suit all types of photography styles
