FRAUDULENT SELLER! Description of a full set of dog fence and SAID 14 gauge but I was sent a 20 gauge that looks like it will break in half if viewed the wrong way. That was a completely false and misleading description. Very thin insulation. The product looks like what comes in the kit I ordered, but the wire is 1/4 the thickness of this one, if any. I have complained to the company and they have disputed the misleading description and now it has been changed to actually show 20 gauge. Wow…

Shipping was very quick and the thickness of the insulation is impressive to say the least. Years. I have to trust this wire to last at least 10 years if not more. In terms of performance I honestly think a thick solid core is better than the cheaper stranded wire that came with the fence (which I replaced in year 6 and now after another 4 years). The limit adjustment is much more sensitive and I can easily incrementally adjust the warning zone with this improved wire.

It transmits much better, I had to adjust the signal on my underground dog fence after replacing the 16 gauge stranded wire with this - the signal stretched an additional two feet. We have had a ground fence (SportDog 100) for about 3 years and initially installed the main wire that came with the kit. This worked great when we kept our dogs on our 5 acres, but we started taking breaks after a while. Lots and lots of breaks.
