This is my second Hot Tools silicone curler. The first lasted at least 7 years. The curlers heat up almost instantly and curl without burning your hair. It has a dial that allows you to choose any heat level you want. I have grey/white hair and use the 320-330 setting. My hair is never "overdone". Nice loose curl, not curly. I highly recommend this product.

Soft curls in under 20 minutes with blow dryer. I love this hot brush. Very simple, very quick to use. Deducted 1 star because there is no automatic shutdown. I left him on the trail and returned to him a few hours later. Not sure. The rest is perfect. My hair is about chin high and I love to curl it. This is the ideal hotstick width. Not thin and not wide.

Purple brushes keep falling out of teeth. I complained about this on my first one and the company sent me another. It was good customer service. But I have the same problem with the new one. It seemed to last longer, but now the purple brushes are falling out so quickly that I won't be needing a brush anytime soon. I decided to try and find another one from a different company. I strongly do not recommend this tool, what's the point if the brushes are loosely attached to the barrel. By the way,

I love the Hot Tool irons! I especially like this straightening iron because it is very gentle on my long, fine hair. My hair is dyed, medium length (shoulder length) so there is a higher risk of damage, which has easily happened with other straighteners I've had! Bought for my teenage daughter, hooked it up and planning to show her how to use it. One pass through her hair and we knew it wasn't for us. SILICONE teeth. On white girls, or at least on our hair texture, they stick and pull and create extreme levels of static electricity! It didn't slide through her clean hair at all. And I love all the stuff HOT TOOLS does, but this thing is back! I should have read more details before ordering. my fault

. it gets warm enough but the silicone made it tug at my hair. It may be fine for very short hair, but not for me. Not a good buy at all.

I purchased this product on April 23, 2019 and this morning it stopped working. I'm a one-person consumer and plug it in less than 1/2 hour a day so I don't think the problem is overuse. When I checked if it could be returned it had expired in July. I'm not impressed except that I don't have any money. Thank you, I have always found Hot Tools products to be very reliable and will buy them when they get too old.

This was the best curling iron for my 3 inch hair. I blow dry and then curl. gives me so much body Holds hair well without breaking it. Just be careful if you have hairspray. The silicone bristles grab the hair a bit due to the heat and stickiness of the hairspray.
