I have had this set for years and use it every day. The pepper shaker was accidentally dropped and the glass shattered. So I found this set and bought it again. As always happy with this set. It grinds well and looks very elegant on my countertop.

The day I received the grinders I took them apart, washed and dried them in preparation for filling. These are good strong units. The funnel that came with it was handy for filling. They enable a wide range of different degrees of grinding. I've only had them for a short time, but so far no problems.

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size for my purposes, ease of use, easy to clean (I use warm soap and water), very nice looks, wet snow and the ability to grind to your specifications is an added plus. Ideal for gifts, it can be used in any kitchen and has a handy carrying case. I love the look of stainless steel, it goes well with my devices. Good product!

When I received them I was pleasantly surprised at their quality and appearance. They are beautiful. I recently broke my 20 year old pepper grinder and am glad I bought it, especially for the price and the carrying handle. The sharpening mechanism is made of PLASTIC which wears out quickly. The only part of these stainless steel grinders is the decorative top and lid. According to the manufacturer, this is 304 stainless steel (non-magnetic grade). Perhaps at this price no one expects a product to last. I gave this one two stars instead of one as it grinds peppercorns at the moment, although it's not nearly as adjustable as the steel-handled peppermill I bought years ago.
