Very well made risers but cheaply kept with no washers.

I purchased a 70mm adapter to attach the Profile Design Jammer GT to my Trek 520. The risers are top notch. They fit perfectly, the screws came pre-treated with blue Loctite but no washers (to save 2 cents?) so I deducted 1 star.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Damaged

Great for fine tuning your handlebars

Perfect for lifting extensions for a more comfortable ride. There's a fine line between aerodynamic performance and your ability to pedal effectively. They are perfect for fine-tuning that balance. They are easy to assemble and will not slide on the bars when properly tightened. They're durable, and while they add weight, they're worth it in the end.

Fairly easy to install, works with Air Stryke II Aero bars

Yes they will fit Profile Design Air Stryke II Aero bars. On my new bike the seat is 2 inches higher so I sized 50mm to tighten the elbow pads. I just moved the washers from the original bolts to the new ones, they go straight through the risers into the elbow pad mount. I'll drive it, see how it goes, if necessary I'll add.

Worked great for my bikepacking setup.

I installed these aero bars on my bikepacking mountain bike. I couldn't get comfortable with it because the geometry of an MTB is different than that of a road bike when you're leaning forward. Installing these risers solved the comfort issue and allowed me to stay in an aerodynamic position longer during my 300 mile bike ride. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a little more comfort on their trip.

These risers work great with other brand handlebars TT

I have 2 sets of 30mm risers on my bike with RICYRLK TT carbon bars and RXL carbon bars and they fit perfectly. I suspect other brands of TT bars similar to RICYRLK bars will also work with these risers. If you plan to use these risers with other brands of TT handlebars, you must also order M5 0.8 socket head screws that are 25mm longer than the height of the riser. For example, order 75mm bolts for 50mm risers. The bolts that come with the risers are large thread and will not fit RICYRLK bars.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • So far so good

I'm glad I ordered this height

I'm glad I ordered this height 70mm it's just what I needed. I ride endurance 60-100 miles and my wrist hurts on my Giant TCR. So I donned an aero bar so I could shift my upper body weight onto my elbows instead of my hands on the flat straights. But without spacers, this attitude was too aggressive for me. When I use my aero bars with these 70mm risers, I end up with the same flex as my hands are in the bar wells. This is a position I can hold for a while and my hands and wrists are already…

Very durable - improves indoor cycling comfort

Takes approximately 1/2 hour to install - requires holding several components together with one hand and using an Allen key to lock them together. A third hand can be helpful. Not much for an item (as pictured) but it's very durable. A good solution for indoor riding but should also work for the street. FYI: When my purchase was first delivered, the package did not contain all the parts nor the pieces of cardboard to hold the components together (opened and unsealed). ) bag included. I don't…

Overpriced - Parts & Components

Profile redesigned the armrests for the T3+ Aero handlebar and made a mess of it. Aerobars now cover too much of the handlebar and you can no longer move the elbow pads away from the handlebar. If you want to ride flat-handed, consider buying these risers, which raise the entire aerobar. Shipping took so long I printed my own 30mm PETG carbon fiber risers (100% fill) and paid $5 for eight M6 45mm bolts (I made a few for my daughter) . Mine probably weren't as strong as these, but I've ridden it

Also works with felt handlebars

70mm aluminum spacers add approximately 2-1/4 inches to the aero bar. Although not intended, these risers will work with my 2014 Felt B14 handlebars. Those loose ends made a big difference for several reasons. On my stock B14, the elbow pads were flush with the steering wheel, making it difficult to grab the inside of the steering wheel. The risers create space between the aero bars and the handlebars, so you have full grip on the handlebars. With these risers I was able to remove some spacers…
