Improved Engine Performance with Hi-Torque Starter!

Through trial and error, I found that this starter greatly improved my car's performance - it starts faster, smoother, and with more power. The installation was easy and the quality is top-notch. The only downside is the price, but it's worth it for the boost in performance.

used part? Suitable for spare parts

Product came with dirt and torn instructions, with wrong screws and no seals. It made a loud bang and several times the solenoid would not turn off. I replaced it with a similar one I bought at a local parts store and it worked great.

DO NOT BUY - CHINESE SIGN!

I ordered one of these from Summit Racing in March 2011. Put it on an '81 Chevy K10 with a Goodwrench engine almost there. There were some flywheel clearance issues that required a flexplate replacement. Had to take this starter to a machine shop to grind .100" off the mounting plate to get proper clearance. The guy at the shop said the starter wasn't working properly. He was right. The clutch/spring on the pinion shaft has broken off. It probably caught on the flywheel and broke off - my fault
