The 720p resolution is a fantastic starting point for home theatre. Much better than the cheap 480p. For less than 200, the picture quality is really sharp. Suitable for a darker day or night room, even with the lights on. The resolution isn't ideal for reading documents, but it's more than ideal for video detail. Couldn't be happier with it. Easier to move than a TV with an even larger screen. That's more than enough for eligible renters like me.

We use this new projector for conferences, office training and break news/games without a projector screen. It works well, lighter, brighter and quieter than the old DELL DLP projector. John and I have the same feeling that in some scenes there is no or less color halos, flicker and on-screen banding. It has 2 HDMI ports. Interestingly, it has a built-in speaker and is quite loud in the pantry. Incidentally, the kit includes 2 screws that can be installed at the front as adjustable feet.

I was able to plug my Chromecast Plus into the HDMI port and connect to the USB port on the back. I was also able to connect my PS4 to the second HDMI port.
