These shoes are so comfortable. I was in great pain.

So comfortable shoes. I had severe pain in my feet and these shoes helped me a lot. I wear between 8 1/2 and 9 and am 8 1/2. The 4E toe box is very comfortable for me. I wear them with cotton socks. The insoles can be removed for washing. I wear them every day and go for a walk again every day. For me the support in this shoe is very good and I love the non-slip construction/design. You work in jeans. I ordered the same shoes in black leather and I find them comfortable. If you have foot…

Rate this shoe

I love this Propet shoe. This is the third pair in the last ten years. I wore them when I worked on the floor as a nurse. For some reason, however, I found a fly in the ointment this morning. I don't know the correct names for the shoe's anatomy, but the back of the shoe, which supports the ankle and heel just below the Achilles tendon, is failing - something underneath the fabric cover has come loose and formed a hard, pointy knot that's digging into my Foot. You can't wear shoes like that…

Looked great but difficult to wear

I think they would be very comfortable if I could wear them. The upper stretch is very small with almost no flex and quite high on the foot. So if you have really wide feet like me, you might find them intolerable. However, I felt that if I could wear them, they would be incredibly comfortable, just like my other Propet shoes. They looked well tailored and were very light but durable enough for winter. I loved the look of them, very elegant style that would look great with jeans or trousers. I…

The size is different from the previous model, NO SUPPORT, different sole

The shoes we loved are no longer made. This is the version of "II" and another. The worst thing about the novelty is that there is no metal support in the heel of the shoe. So if you try to put your foot in the shoe, the heel will fall through unless you have a shoehorn. The size is different. Maybe it's because the heel has no metal, but my normal size 8' won't fit in a size 8 shoe. I've thought about trying an 8 1/2, but I'm really put off by the lack of heel support . The shoes appear to be…

Great shoe brand! in Loafers & Slip-Ons

I bought my first pair of Propet in 2010 (see photos, beige is 2010 version, 2019 version Merlot). I posted a front/back view and a bottom view. I had about 10 pairs in total. Since they are unisex, I bought both the men's 8 WW and the women's 10 WW. Let me just say that I started Propet because I have/had bursitis and hammer toes on both feet. I had surgery on my right hand in 2010 and started wearing it after recovering from the surgery. I've had some balance issues over time and found them…

Works with all my accessory inserts and holds up well

I like these because I have horrible feet (plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, bone spurs etc) and I use 2 arch supports, gel pads etc to lift the arch of the foot and tilt Step your foot back toward the outside edge, rather than leaning in that far. This shoe has a high enough forefoot to hold everything and still hit. It also has a hard, stiff heel and side to cushion the Ortho's outward tilt so I don't over-sole in the shoe. Square. Because of this, ordinary canvas shoes wear out…

Propet's laceless walker is great!

Several reviewers noted that these shoes are narrower than those they have purchased in the past. I believe that's true because the medium width models I've bought recently fit just as well as the narrow width models I've bought in the past. Since I have a narrow foot, this fits me perfectly. People who bought a medium width in the past may now need to buy a wide width. Based on other reviews I've seen I recommend trying on new shoes right away so you can return them if they don't fit. I have…

UPDATED: ATTENTION! THIS IS NOT THE W3851 YOU BOUGHT!

UPDATE 1/12/19 I bought 2 pairs of Propet Wash and Wear Slip-On shoes in September 2018. I usually wear a pair for 6 months because I walk a lot so I wanted to have an extra pair on hand. Imagine my surprise when I put on a second pair last week and found they didn't fit. They were incredibly tight. When I realized that shoes usually need to be broken in, stretched, etc., I wore them for 4 days and tried very hard to break them in and stretch them - to no avail. By the end of the fourth day I…
