Comfortable and supportive shoes

Usually wear 11B in tennis shoes, 10B in flats. Tried 11 which was too big, then found 10 1/2 B at Revain and ordered it. I always wear orthotics in my tennis shoes, so I planned on using them with them. The shoes have removable insoles, but are so comfortable and comfortable that I can wear them all day without orthotics. I have a high arch and the orthotics keep my feet from hurting in tennis shoes during everyday activities; They look a little more groomed and also prevent your feet from…

Large sizes, for large feet

Pay attention to American women, the size is larger than usual. You see in other posts that the shoe needs some arch support and cushioning. Do not order half a size up to make room for the supports as the shoes are large to begin with. This may be due to the larger width. If you are a size 7 and usually wear a size 7 but buy a size 7.5 to fit panels, go for a size 7. A size 7.5 fits like a size 8 and is wider. So if you are medium size you can choose skinny but if you are skinny I don't think…

Gorgeous shoes with a major design flaw

I've bought hundreds of shoes over the years but have never seen one like this one. Most shoes have the sole underneath the shoe itself. Not this Propet Walker. The rigid sole wraps around the bottom of the heel, which is in a recess surrounded by the rigid sole. This unusual type of rearfoot support may have required using washable leather instead of the usual leather shoe support, but the extended outsole presses against the bone on the outside of my foot. This may not be a problem for those…

Pros

Cons
  • Crumpled

This would be a good shoe if you are the right size and don't need as much arch support. (Or you add your own) I usually wear 8.5w shoes or order a 9m shoe if they aren't wide enough to accommodate my wide balled feet. However, I ordered 8.5W and it was too narrow and too short. It also didn't offer the arch support I was looking for. But there is a nice pillow. Love that they are leather and washable, they feel durable. Compared to other Propet shoes, the Jodie model, the Jodie fits me great…

I love these shoes for Athletic

I love these shoes! I've been wearing them for 3 years and they are great! I did my clinical studies for nursing school in the hospital so I wear them for 1000+ hours including 12 hour shifts. My legs never hurt. Not once. They were too hard when I received them, so I bought a gel insert and have had the same one for years. They work fine but the day before last the bottom part started falling off, I glued it back with shoe slime and everything was fine. Now that I'm a nurse and don't have to…

Best shoes for foot problems

Can't say enough about this shoe! I wear 7.5 AA and have good bows. I had plantar fasciitis as well as bunions in both feet. Before the surgery these were the most comfortable shoes I had, didn't cause any pain in the big toe area and helped support the foot and arch while improving plantar fasciitis by adding heel inserts as recommended by the doctor. Luckily the PF went away after therapy and I had surgery on both joints a few months apart. I went back to these shoes a week after every…

I have a small but wide foot because of the bones. I have worn the Life Walker for many years. I loved the fit, durability and price! I can't buy Propet anywhere in the Twin Cities anymore so I have to order them now. I called Propet and they told me it was a hard drive replacement. Life Walker and the only Propet shoe with the same last. They arrived informally. The cost was about $30 more than the Life Walker, and this shoe doesn't appear to be of the highest quality. It also appears wide…

Great shoe but runs small

I really need lace up shoes due to bursitis and what the pediatrician calls "flexible" bones. That means I need shoes to absorb the bursitis, but I also need shoes with support. At 63, I'd rather not look like I'm wearing my mother's shoes. I was so excited when I saw these shoes. I usually wear size 9.5m but after reading other people's comments I ordered 9.5W and 10M as I wasn't sure which size to take. I keep 10M. They fit and feel fantastic. The leather is soft, but the lacing provides…
