🧽 ProPlus Dry Cleaning Sponge: The Ultimate Cleaning Solution for Fabrics Review

Have cleaned an oil boiler chimney and used it during cleaning but found it to only be good for collecting loose dry soot and not even as much as I was expecting. This works, but it helps prepare the area for the actual cleaning.

I live in an apartment and accidentally lit a candle too close to the wall Soot on the wall and ceiling. I panicked after trying to rinse it off with a damp cloth and it only got worse. However, this 100% fixed it! Even took care of the parts I deteriorated with water. If you have soot on your walls or just like lighting candles, I recommend it just in case!

I love this product. A bad candle in a jar left soot on my walls and furniture. I read about the dry cleaning sponge and decided to give it a try. It was wonderful. All the soot and smoke stains have come off the walls, furniture and lampshades. I can highly recommend it not only for soot and smoke, but also for basic cleaning of lampshades, furniture and walls. Incredible results!

I really wanted this sponge to be the silver bullet that would liven up our cream sofas. I read a bunch of reviews and thought this might work. Unfortunately we have two boys and a dog and we should have known better. Not much of a difference with the upholstery - but I tried it on a lampshade that didn't seem too rough to me - and it removed a lot of dirt, lint etc.

Works well, like all sponges for dry cleaning. I just wanted it to do a great job with a beloved (expensive) lampshade that got dirty during a move. The appearance of the shadow has improved a lot, but I think I expected a miracle. So I'd say it cleans delicate things like lampshades pretty well. I know it works well for wallpaper etc which I've used it on in the past. I'm sure I'll replace this one when it wears out.

I bought this sponge to remove layers of dirt from some vintage prints that I bought on sale. I remembered these cleaning sponges from the archive library catalogue. They worked great. This little restoration/conservation job would have cost me at least $100. After several passes of light over the delicate paper, the dirt disappeared and the image and paper became a shade lighter. If you use this for saving, don't use it for pencil marks that you want to save. And don't press the pictures too…
