Great replacement kit for Jeep TJ

Looks great and works well for a '98 Jeep TJ. My engine no longer pulls or wobbles when initially accelerating. Yes! To install it, I raised the engine with a jack and a piece of wood under the oil pan. I loosened all the bolts and hex nuts (on one side only). For the new block, I greased the sides of the bushings (to let them slide easily), put the front bolt and rear hex nut in first, then used a screwdriver to help line up the holes on the sides. This took about 5-7 minutes on each side. If…

In hindsight I would install in a regular mount.

96 XJ The left engine mount had to be removed and some sanding done to install the new mount as others have pointed out. The brackets fit together snugly and I have found that in order to align everything you have to loosen all the screws on the plates that attach to the block and then align everything from there. Installed on 93 XJ 4.0L 4WD Auto

I installed them because I had a cracked exhaust manifold and I heard it could be caused by worn out engine mounts. When I replaced the header and brackets, I noticed that the old brackets had a large crack. They were relatively easy to install, but I had to cut the rubber a bit to allow them to slide into the mount. It was easy to fix and it was invisible once installed. After installation I was very pleased with the looks and features. Because they are polyurethane, they are slightly more…

Wow they are really good

I did a 1.25" JKS body riser and a 1" motor mount to get rid of the ugly transfer case that fell off my Jeep when I was bought it. The JKS kit is great. Installation was easy. During installation I noticed that my 17 year old factory rubber engine mounts were cracked and split. I built a jeep with broken engine mounts and drove it for about 3 weeks. During this time, I noticed that it was those stock engine mounts, while not completely broken, that were the cause of many really serious…
