What they won't tell you or show you is that there is a bulbous wiring harness on the back of these lights, forcing you to drill a 5/8" hole wherever you mount it . They look good and are comfortable. bright enough but not flush.

Very simple connection, in the photo only headlights burning. Triggering the brake lights via a switch I connected to the brake pedal under the floor of the golf cart works like a champ! Due to the small protrusion on the back, you must first drill a hole to install them. Many other people have commented on this. Not comfortable. Luckily I tested them before installing and found that one light doesn't blink or work with a brake light, it just stays on. I tested the other on both sides and it worked fine.

FYI ***they are not waterproof***. One ride in my boy trailer and they were full of water. I had to glue the connectors on the back to seal them. The connectors on the back of the lamp protrude and are not flush. To mount them flush you will need to drill a 3/4 inch hole. After the trouble, they seem to persevere. Only cheap Chinese lamps.

Attach one to our PWC trailer as a third running light in the center of the trailer. It has been on the ski trailer since the start of the season and is now out of service. My setup is flawless. I bought these for my UTV trailer. I love how small and slim they are and the black body helps them blend in and makes them look like they belong, not an afterthought. The reason I gave them a low rating is the contrast between the brightness of the taillights and the brightness of the brake/turn signals. You can see it, but it's not visible on your face. Yes, it's LED and at the moment the market still offers high prices for this technology, but that's no excuse to produce cheap junk. The wires on the light are about twice as thin as standard trailer wiring, and while I'm not interested in trying, I don't think it should be hard to break the wire or pull it out.
