Lock cylinder came on time together with the ignition lock, everything installed well and fits perfectly the only thing with the new lock cylinder was that the computer couldn't read the chip into the new lock cylinder, so my mechanic removed the old chip took out the old cylinder lock and put it in the new one and after that everything was fine.

Perfect replacement for my 2000 Monte Carlo SS, my ignition did not light up and this made the repair very easy although I do notice that the keys do not light up , which I honestly thought was stupid, but at least they can easily be converted to a new key. Job was quick aside from the key relearn process, but this is on a GM, no dash disassembly required if you have the 90* dial.
