PURDY brushes are the gold standard to me. The best brush on the market. I don't know why Home Depot stopped selling them, but you can still find them at Lowe's. For the same price.

I bought a cheaper brush for work but ended up throwing it away and bought Purdy. For me it's worth the extra price to get a brush that applies the paint evenly and thoroughly to the first coat.

Purdy makes a top-notch brush and this angled trimming brush is no exception. This high-quality, durable brush is the best choice for trimming jobs. I'm repainting the interior of my house and there is a lot of finishing work going on. This brush delivered. I highly recommend this product.

Ideal for very detailed work, but does not hold a lot of paint. If you can't draw, buy this brush, it will help you a lot. If you are a more experienced painter, get a thicker/larger cut brush so you can cover more area faster with better coverage.

Cuts really, really sharp as advertised but not as durable as some of the other Purdy brushes I've used. I noticed broken bristles after a relatively few days of use. Strictly for cutting, I don't think you can find a better brush, but there are more durable options for general painting.

I have used Purdy brushes for many years. I still use brushes that I have had for over 20 years. I've been waiting for my kitchen cabinet doors to be finished. Smooth; smooth. No stripes. Update: This is the easiest brush to clean. Latex paint is simply washed off. No need to add dish soap and comb through with a metal comb. The color just slides off. The material the brush is made of must be something new, as cleaning old brushes takes time and effort.

Now I understand why people buy more expensive brushes! I didn't want to use this paint on the wall (I wanted to use it on the wooden door) but I grabbed it because I didn't have any other brushes on hand at the last minute.
