Good sound quality, questionable long-distance multi-room ability

Pros: It was easy to set up (use 8 zeros for built-in Wi-Fi password) and delivers clear sound with well-to-clear highs (unlike some Bluetooth devices I've had before). Cons: The multi-room capability is somewhat questionable. It works like this: You use the Smart Sonix app to make one device a "slave" to another. But what happens behind the scenes is that the slave then connects to the master over the master's internal Wi-Fi, not the home Wi-Fi. In my case, I have multiple Wi-Fi hotspotsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Give your speakers and home theater a basic wireless music streaming experience
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

PERFECT if you don't have a noisy PSU.

Overall this is a fantastic device! I believe it brings functionality that I haven't been able to implement this way before. Apple only offers the Airport or Apple TV lines as AirPlay receivers, neither of which can run exclusively on USB power. It's perfect for this gap in the product line, as it allows me to use the speakers I already have around the house instead of spending huge sums on Sonos solutions when my house is already focused on Apple media and hardware. The only issue I'veโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Send music from a smartphone to the receiver - Built-in Wi-Fi Receives audio
Cons
  • No automatic

Failed miserably at first but - as advertised

I finally managed to set up the device correctly on my home network to play music from my mobile devices, so I'm upgrading this product rating to 3 stars. My comments about short cables, small dimensions, poorly written non-existent installation instructions, and confusing installation software stand, but after all is said and done, it actually works. miserably. I could live with the meager manual, tiny size, short connection cables, and no charger, but not a non-working product. The productโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Works with iPhone, Android, smartphones, tablets, computers etc - Aux in and out (3.5mm)
Cons
  • Not sure
