💡 Pyramid PS9KX Universal Compact Bench Power Supply: 5 Amp Linear Regulated Home Lab Converter with 13.8V DC, 115V AC Input and 70 Watt Output Review

Do you use a lot of 12 volt devices or products that use a cigarette lighter socket for power? Add this to your garage workbench and you will never regret. Charge my phone, check 12 volt lights, landscape lights and more since I bought it. Should have bought a desktop power supply a few years ago.

This power supply is fine but be careful with the 120v power line that goes from the socket to the unit. IT literally crumbles after a while. I had 3 spots on the wire where it snapped exposing the bare copper. once shorted and melted. This company uses cheap cables in this device and is prone to failure.

I am using this power supply to power my 15w Midland MXT115 GMRS micro mobile radio. It works perfectly. This provides enough power to operate the radio without any problems. The design of the power supply is also good. This is a solid block of metal. The fit and finish of the device exceeds its price. I expect this to last a long time. Good value for money!

Have used it 4 times at very low power since I bought it 4 months ago and it stopped working the 4th time. It gave off the typical smell of burnt electronics. I knew it wasn't very expensive but I expected it to last longer. Even outside the Revane return period. I couldn't even figure out where and how to get a 1 year warranty.

I miss the Radio Shack! This thing worked ONCE. Get a small 12V air compressor. Had it for years. No problem inflating car tires when connected to ANY car via 12v plug I used the same compressor to inflate bike tires ONCE. Everything seemed fine. A month later and try my car tires. It doesn't produce enough juice to turn on the device's small (electronic) compressor. I plug in my machine and wow it works fine. Do I have to travel to Japan to get a decent 12v inverter with a 12v plug?

I don't know why it took me years to buy an AC adapter. After years of using fake 12v batteries and poorly stripped wires to test components, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a pyramid.
