    Works well as a lid holder, soft, close to the top

    Overall I like these lid holders. I'll be using several of these, so I wanted to test one first. The lid I used weighed 3.84 pounds and was 21 inches wide by 14 inches wide. My test setup used a self-closing cabinet hinge that works against soft closing. I expect a hidden soft-close hinge to work to allow full soft-close customization. Adjustment allows you to adjust closing speed and can help adjust weight.

    Ideal for tight spaces

    I bought these hinges for my road trailer to support overhead cabinets that can open and not hold open. I looked at options with small spacers or magnets and decided that they worked best in terms of aesthetics (no magnets on the ceiling), the way they attach and that they stay open in any position would. I had a bit of trouble figuring out the mount configuration and after installing the first one it was easy. Unfortunately no photo. They work great!

    It worked very well, but the instructions.

    To leave much to be desired is an understatement. Luckily there is YouTube. Once I figured out how to attach the rubber washer screws to the hinge itself, installation was pretty easy, but it would be nice to have some grammatically correct instructions that actually make sense. I only had to use a loop for my closed kitty bowl. The hinge is very strong and runs very smoothly. Really good buy once you get the hang of assembly/installation.

    They do their job very well but my box lid isn't very heavy (5lbs)

    As others have said the instructions are a bit odd. The first one took me 30 minutes to install, reinstall, install, reinstall, install. The second lasted less than 5 minutes. Just follow the pictures. The text is confusing. Measure the required distance from the borders. Attach the panels yourself. Then connect the lever and you're done! I wish they were black or bronze, I hate the chrome finish, they look so cheap and I'm afraid spray painting could cause the bearings to not perform well if…

    Lifting hinge for wall cabinets

    I bought a pair of these hinges for two small wall cabinets in my 1964 vintage trailer. That works great. There were no instructions in the kit other than what was printed on the plastic bag the hinges came in, which didn't work for me. However, a video on YouTube provided the information I needed and installation was easy after that. One hinge was enough for each door. I gave it five stars because installation was a breeze after figuring out how to put everything together from a YouTube video.

    Works great as a simple lid.

    I bought these to hold open the lid of a toy box I was building for my soon-to-be little girl. Since the lid remains, I can't fault them. Open the lid and they hold it until you want to close it. The "soft close" part of the description can be a bit misleading. Couldn't find a spot on the voltage setting (resistance setting?     NO replacement for IKEA

    If you search for "IKEA Ferrari cabinet hinges" these will come up. They look the same, they even have similar decor elements. But it's not the same. If you want to emulate the design to replace the IKEA Ferrari cabinet hinge, then why not do it right away? At first I was disappointed that the new arms didn't fit directly onto the old mounts, ugh. The holes in the new bracket were too small to fit thick IKEA screws. So I re-drilled them 1/4"3. The inside cabinet brackets were sticking out going
