Description of πŸ”Œ QIJIE LED Strip Connector Terminal 3 Pin 10mm IP20 Non-Waterproof, Ideal for Dimmable, Dual Color, WS2812, WS2811 Digital Tape Light, Connect Strip to 22~20 Gauge Extension Wire, Pack of 10

One end for strip light and another end for extension wire, DIY a lead connector wire with any length.Applicable for IP20 strip light (3 solder pad) in different LED density ranging 30~120 LEDs per meter. No need stripping wire insulation before connection (pierce-to-contact) , easily connect your led strip to cable, power, dimmer or controller without any soldering. Clear Cap that will not mask light of first LED thus hardly see dark area in your lighting space. Make lighting effect more uniform. Powerful with as much as total 5A current supported, allow you to connect longer LED strip by one connector, reducing cost and connection work. With fixing bar on cap and piercing contact design, connector can grip strip light tightly, never worry strip light or wire moving out of connector. Even workable to strip light with 3M VHB red foam adhesive tape.

Very difficult to use but works well

These parts are VERY difficult to put around the band and don't close easily - the retaining clips aren't big enough to 'catch'. They work well if you can ever close them over the strip.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Don't waste your money

Absolute rubbish. They almost don't pierce the cable housing and don't have a reliable connection with the LED strip connectors. Better buy a soldering iron and learn how to do it right like I did.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No automatic

Save time on lighting and ceiling fans

Like. Makes repairing my moldings easier. Soldering is such a burden when you just want to fix the connection. But in my opinion it lasts longer because there is no solder to peel off from degradation. I suggest this for DIYers. Or those who, like me, enjoy teaching construction.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Communication with Seller

Extremely useful for anyone working with LED strips

I found this very handy, especially with this vendor's strip to tape connectors. No more cumbersome soldering and gluing of cable holders. However, I should note (as it clearly states in the description) - keep this wire at or below 20-22; Most if not all of my connecting wires are 26 or higher. This connects, but definitely not reliably or securely.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Nothing

Decent after some practice

Some reviews must have overlooked the fact that you need pliers to close it. I also found that the instructions that you can use silicone coated strips are wrong and you have to remove about a quarter inch of the strip you are connecting it to. Make sure it's fully inserted on both sides, which you should feel as it goes through the spikes, or see through the top. Be gentle and maybe sacrifice one to learn, but with a little time they become a super clean, fairly quick, no-solder solution.

Pros
  • Not cheap, but decent
Cons
  • Other Other

Absolute rubbish: lighting and ceiling fans

I tried them with a very average 22AWG cable - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CKNPJ/ref=cm_sGFw_em_r_mt_dp_71NFM39PSE41YHTBY2S4?_encoding=1 pack uses these and JEDEN Connector could not cut the wire. Instead, the wire cutters were so weak that they flexed back, down, and forward. other than by wire. The pins on the end of the LED strip matched up correctly, but the end of the wire was unusable. I sent all the parts back, throwing the rest away.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Neat, after some practice

Cons
  • Some difficulties

Complete rubbish in track lighting

Tried with a very average 22AWG cable - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CKNPGFJ/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_71NFM39PSE41YHTBY2S4?_encoding=1 I used UTF8&psc=1 1/2 pack of these connectors and EACH connector failed to cut into the wire. Instead, the wire cutters were so weak that they flexed back, down, and forward. other than by wire. The pins on the end of the LED strip matched up correctly, but the end of the wire was unusable. I sent all the parts back, throwing the rest away.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not bad but...

These connections are faulty.

DO NOT BUY! You are garbage! There is nothing on this connector to prevent the tape from being inserted too far or not far enough. Wires are just as difficult to insert. There are no actual instructions, so good luck putting them back in place and snapping the latch. I see no other way to test this than turn on the strip and hope for the best. I burned part of my lane because it shorted out something. I couldn't tell what was shorted. I ended up soldering all of my connections (10), which took…

Pros
  • High quality workmanship
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Solid construction but took a long time to align the wires in the connector.

I had very high hopes for it because I really don't like inhaling solder fumes. And for big projects, that's not great. When I first used them, about 18 pack, using 22 gauge stranded wire, I found: 1. All connections were strong and secure on the first try :) 2. The strip side was easy to splice. You need pliers for both sides.3. The wires side was a lot trickier, trying to get the 3 small wires to line up exactly in the right position inside the device was tricky. There's not much to keep the…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

  • No.
