Enhanced Quadrafire Pellet Stove Control Box for Improved Performance and Efficiency Review

I bought this as a spare for my Quadrafire pellet stove. I bought this because the Quadrafire has had a lot of breakdowns and I try to keep spares on hand for most parts.

Works great. Replaced the original control box on my 11 year old Quadrafire Classic Bay 1200 which was cracking and no longer signaling pellet cycles. The hob is now fully functional again. Ease of installation.

Blown 7A fuse, tried to restore a 10A fuse until the correct fuse was installed but found the 1 day old heater shorted, now poor control. The instructions helped to understand the location of the switch to fit the old one plugged into the cntlr like new. no questions

I bought a used pellet stove and the ECM must have been faulty, obviously since we installed this unit! It burns much more evenly and requires less cleaning. It also appears to be much more thermostat sensitive.

Right side, worked great. Wrong symptom. I had to dig deeper. In the summer, when I lifted the pot to clean underneath, I accidentally ripped off the lever that opened the ash pan door. The ash collected under the pot but above the ashtray. There is a black cover with 4 black screws. Very easy to miss. And I made it. After I reattached the hinge and cleaned the area, the stove fired like it was brand new. I reinstalled the original controller and it works fine. Now I have a spare controller.

This product works properly. Just wanted to let people know that if they buy this unit and they are NOT professionals associated with the Quadra Fire and unfamiliar with how it works and they don't have a manual (like me) then there is there is no user manual that came with the device. from the supplier.
