Barely Functional Remote for Car Electronics

Based on our own experience this replacement remote barely worked. The programming instructions were confusing and difficult to follow, and even when we finally got it to work, it was unresponsive and sluggish .The only pro is that it was cheaper than purchasing the official replacement remote from our car manufacturer. But, as the saying goes, you get what you PAY for. Don't waste your money on this inferior product..

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting replacement remote for select Toyota models.
Cons
  • Some users have reported difficulty with programming the remote for their specific vehicle.

Excellent replacement shell

My Subaru key had a crack from falling for several months. While it was still working, I was just waiting for the day when it would become a problem and leave me stuck. Several times it opened through a crack and I had to work putting the key back together to make it work. When the key fob's battery finally died, I knew I had to do something to replace the key before it splintered from broken plastic and became disconnected. The dealer asked $300 to make a new one. ridiculous! I bought this…
