short shaft best in watch movements

watch movement needs replacing. Works well, accurate, but the shaft is short for our watch. I had to bend the hands to avoid scratching the uneven surface of my watch.

Hand fit issues

The main thing I like is that it came with the perfect hands I needed. The bad thing is I couldn't get my hands to fit inside. I didn't want to break my hands so I couldn't use it at all.

You get what you pay for

Bought a broken watch out of good faith so I could fix it and got these hands on to get it working again. The back isn't tightened to the end so it's pretty free. It's also SO LOUD. You have to bend your arms so they can tick too.

As described and easy to use

I was able to easily repair a watch with broken parts and add a second hand! The only thing that didn't bother me was that the long seconds hand was black (everything else was gold), which wasn't visible on my dial. But I just painted the end with gold nail polish and now you can see it.

Breathing new life into old watches

I have a lovely watch that I bought on a trip and really didn't want to throw away when it stopped working. After some research I bought this set. It was enough to just replace the mechanism and make the watch work like new again. I also like the fact that multiple hand styles can be used. It was one of the few kits with interchangeable hands and I had the option to add a second hand. All in all a good investment.
