Not too thick, not too thin.

Oversized handles tend to absorb shock but limit the "feel" of handling. The Half Nelson grips give you good response with a sticky feel with or without gloves and ample cushioning. The lock and installation was easy. The colors are great. End caps are mostly junk, but who doesn't have a tray full of end caps somewhere.

Pros
  • It's awesome
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great feeling of cheap equipment.

The grips feel good, but the gear that comes with it seems cheap to me. I went to attach the handles and tighten the clamp but the handle was still a little loose. So I tightened the screw and it ripped off the hex head. Now I can't take the handle off or tighten it because the screw broke. I think the only way to remove the screw is to cut it off.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • So far so good

Grab it!: Sport

High quality grip set. The old stock took longer to remove than it did to install. Simply slide on and secure with an Allen key. After a full season of use, they hold up well and don't need to be tightened at all. The silicone grip is sticky enough to ride comfortably and safely without getting in the way of a quick release. I will definitely buy them again.

Feels great, looks great!

Nothing to like. A few things I like about these grips, I like how they feel with and without riding gloves. I like the look, my blue GT Aggressor Pro fits well. And I love how easy they are to install. The hardest part of the whole thing was getting the factory installed knobs off, which was easy with a little soapy water, a small Allen wrench, and a little turning. Just a few minutes.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Expensive

One of my three favorite pens!

Put them on my 2019 Trek Marlin 5. 10/10 grip. Durability. now. Thick - They are thin, I almost sent them back because I was stupid and didn't pay attention to details when ordering. I like thicker grips, but I'm getting used to it. Hope this saves someone some time if you're like me and like thicker grips. I wonder how long they will last with such thinness. I'll let you know when it's time to replace these grips to show how long they last.

  • Decent performance

End caps don't work

They are comfortable and controllable, but there is a design flaw. The end cap is designed to clip onto the end of the handlebar. The problem is that the end cap compresses the tip so that when tightened it pushes away from the end of the rod. There should be a lip or groove for the end cap to fit into to keep it in place. I just used my stock end caps to get through as I like grips that work well, but this is a fairly obvious design flaw that any engineer or researcher should notice. I'mโ€ฆ

Super easy to assemble, feel good, look good

Easy to assemble. Slides directly onto Specialized Hardrock handlebars and cam locks are easily secured with an Allen key. Didn't get around to removing the screws as some have mentioned, just don't over tighten them. Tighten by hand and check that the handle does not rotate forcibly. If so, tighten slightly and check again. These grips look good and feel comfortable. They are a little smaller but perfect for my son and if you wear gloves from time to time. Hopefully they hold up and don'tโ€ฆ

I have a $9 handle and I don't see any difference.

My previous grips are $9 off an Amazon BV single grip bike grip like this one. I really don't see any difference in quality. Both tires feel the same. I used the previous one for 5 months and ride my bike every day. I'll be direct, it's just the price of the brand. Ah, this one came without caps so I'm sending it back. To update. Apparently Raceface fixed the previous version's looter sliding end, but I still think they can work better with clamps. Check out my $8 clamps. so strong and easy toโ€ฆ

When I installed the great grips I was a bit concerned at first because they only have one bolt and my horses have two. but as soon as I jumped up and took off, they proved to be just as strong as the others, if not stronger. I walked through the national park on Saturday morning. In a 2 hour ride I had 4 hikers screaming at how amazing my downhill bike looked. Oddly enough, this has never happened. Usually people never notice the type of bike. I didn't even realize they went with my bars. Iโ€ฆ
